Titanfall Titans

Titans are the primary tools of warfare in Titanfall. They fight alongside their human pilots, measure about 20 feet tall, surprisingly agile with the ability to both sprint and sidestep, and are outfitted with a wide range of weapons.

In the Titanfall background story, the titans were manufactured by a tech company called Hammond Engineering. With their powerful planetary survey technology and the strength of their giant titans, Hammond developed itself into a powerful corporate empire whose control has spread throughout the universe.  There are three types of titans:  Titan Atlas, Titan Ogre, and Titan Stryder. Each was made with special abilities. Here is a review of each titan.

The Atlas Titan

“On the Frontier, the Atlas has always performed when needed. From the first conflicts to the latest deployments, the Atlas stands the test of time. As the workhorse of the IMC Titan fleet, it has survived every encounter and mission scenario and continues to outperform competing technology in every battlefield.”

The Titan Ogre

“In field testing, our newest model uses its heavy armor design to destroy the competition. In ballistic, and martial testing in the Ogre’s initial deployment, we truly delivered. In total, it was responsible for 67 percent of enemy force depletion. It suffered only superficial damage to the outer hull while mitigating damage to friendly units by nearly 40 percent, and inflicting over 50 percent more damage to enemy units.”

The Titan Stryder

“In field testing, the Stryder outperforms all others in speed… acceleration.. and agility. But direct action missions is where the Stryder excels. As the first to strike, Stryder destroys classic defenses with a 63 percent higher success rate, and can secure rapid deployment objectives faster than any other Titan on the Frontier.”
